Bankroll Update

Well.. if you look closely at this graph you will notice that so far i was doing ok, winning on a regular basis.

This last week however i did great playing tournaments and sitngos, and i almost double up my bankroll. Tournament #70 was the ferguson that i won $65 dolars.

Now with this boosted bankroll of $190 i can start playing $5.50 sitngos. I will tell how i'm doing in future days. So far i played 3 a won first place in 2 of them, so i'm not doing so bad for a start.

About Me

My start in Poker

¡¡¡4th PLACE IN THE FERGUSON!!!

I just finished playing the ferguson tournament on full tilt in which, after almost being eliminated in place 140, i made a fantastic comeback to finish in the fourth place.

This is the biggest win i had playing poker so far, $65 dollars after a long, long playing time of about five and a half hours.

But there wasn't wasted time at all, not only for the money i won, but because i learned one very important thing in this five hours, and that is: ¡¡NEVER GIVE UP!!

I was just entered in the paid places when, in a bad beat a lost about 70% of my remaining chips, leaving me only with 2.000 (almost the inicial amount), that's a hard situation to come back. But that was just what i did, with a little help from the cards, and my opponents, i managed to make those 2.000 into 50.000 in about 20 minutes.

I'll tell you later how i did in the later stages (i'm too tired rigth now and i'm going to bed).

This is the 4th time i played the ferguson tournament on full tilt and in 3 of them i was abble to cash out, $4 , $1.5 , and this time $65. That's not a bad investment for a $1 buy-in.
If you are good at tournaments, give it a try.

See you at the tables

My start in poker

I started playing some freerolls in sites like everest poker, titan, full tilt, and ultimate. I did very well, cashing out in many of them and even getting a few second and third places. Sadly i never won one, but for a real beginer in poker is not such a bad result ( four months ago i barely knew the rules of the game).

Everest was the first site i joined, i played the limit holdem sitngo freerolls making a good progres. I played a lot of them and in some time ( a week or so) i managed to put $1 in my account. Then i took that money and i played cash games. It was a extremely good start i had in this games, making $1 into $7 in a few days of playing. Also it was very hard when i lose it all in a few hands later. Now my account in this site reads $0.00. I learned something there...

A few days later i run into a page on the internet that said i can get $50 just for registering and taking a quiz, i did and also i started to read some articles and books in order to learn more about the game. Bankroll management!! i didn't care about that before and i realized that it was a very important aspect of the game.
With $56 in full tilt ($50 of my free bankroll, and $6 won in a freeroll) i started to play $1 sitngos.
Then i realized that the rake in this games was too high and i switched to $2. I'm playing those games until now because i dind't yet reached the necesary bankroll to advance to a higher level.

In the moment i have $92 dollars in my account at full tilt and i think i'm making a very good progress. Not bad for a true beginer...

Tournament progress update

This is how i played this month. Mostly $2 sitngos and a few "fergusons" at full tilt. In one "ferguson" i finished 35 place.
